Experience the difference!
With deep roots as a freelance photographer and cinematographer I have been capturing images since getting my first camera in 1999. I am noted for my fresh and innovative creativity in the field and in the studio. I use the most spectacular imagery, incredible audio and captivating story-telling to deliver the highest quality product for the best cost to a wide variety of clients.
My cinematography and photography has come from my love of the great outdoors and exploring Colorado and other mountain ranges on horseback and on my mountain bike. I have been shooting lifestyle photography since 2000 with 35mm film, and converted to digital in 2005, and to video in early 2009. I feel that God has blessed me with this talent, and this is my way of repaying Him for allowing me the pleasure to wake up to another amazing day!
My Brand Collateral… What I bring to the table…
Specializing in high-definition video commercial productions serving all of northern and southern Colorado and beyond, I have produced, shot and edited, many local and regional projects, as well as promotional videos distributed on DVD and the web. With over 20 years of marketing experience, my all-hands-on approach in all aspects of production including script development, on-location videotaping, lighting and editing, producing and directing, helps businesses develop their unique selling points to captivate the viewing public with clean images and a strong message. Some of my work has a national and international reach with the large brands such as ESPN, Home Depot, Malt-O-Meal, Breyers Ice Cream and Pizza Hut.
When you don’t have a $5,000+ budget to pay a five-man production company to make your 30 second commercial or shoot those product shots for your eCommerce site, but you are willing to spend a little more than the economy “stay-at-home” solutions that’s where Widow Creek comes in. Helping your business stand above your competition, without draining your bank account. It’s the perfect balance of quality and value. The perception of the public plays a big role in the success of any business or event, and once your imagery is represented online or on-screen, it’s all in the eye of the viewer to behold… so make the right choice and experience the difference.
My Brand Personality… My style, my flair…
I don’t like to put myself into a box, but if I had to define my style, I would consider myself to fall in the genre of lifestyle photojournalism.
Lifestyle Cinematography is a style of filmmaking which aims to portray real-life situations in a semi-controlled setting. Lighting is bright, airy and natural-looking. There are many commercial applications including magazine editorial, television and advertising usage.
Photojournalism, Documentarian or “Street Cinematography” is a particular form of filmmaking that creates images in order to tell a story. Distinguished from other close branches of filmmaking by the qualities of: Timeliness – the images have meaning in the context of a recently published record of events, Objectivity – the situation implied by the images is a fair and accurate representation of the events they depict in both content and tone, as well as narrative – the images combine photographic elements to show relatable facts to the viewer or reader on a cultural level clearly outlining the accompanying story.
My objective to you is simple: to tell your story…
